1. Rajwada -
Rajwada is a magnificent and historical palace located near the famous Kajuri Market in
Indore, which is located in the city of Indore and was built more than 200
years ago by the Holkars. It is a seven-story building situated near the
Chhatris and serves as an exceptional example of architectural skills and royal
grandeur.
The Rajwada Palace,
nestled between the busy streets of the Kajuri Bazar and facing the city's main
square also faces a well-maintained garden with a Queen Ahilya Bai statue, an
artificial waterfall and some beautiful fountains. The palace continues to be
one of the most popular tourist spots in Indore even after all these years, and
is also one of the oldest buildings.
2. Lal Bag Palace -
The Lal Bagh
Palace, housed by the rulers of the Holkar dynasty, is personified by class and
grandeur. The palace is spread over a vast 28-acre area and represents the
taste of the Holkar dynasty rulers. This palace once housed one of the best
rose gardens in the world, an example of architectural magnificence.
Due to the myriad mixture of Italian marble columns, large chandeliers, rich Persian carpets, flying nymphs on the ceiling, Belgian stained glass windows, Greek mythological reliefs, Italian style wall paintings, stuffed leopards, and tigers, etc., the interior of this palace would make you forget that you are in India. All in all, Lal Bagh Palace, if you're in Indore, is a must-visit. With the exception of Monday, this palace can be visited any time before 10:00 a.m. Up to 5:00 p.m. For the evening.
3. Kajrana Temple -
One of Lord
Ganesha's most powerful shrines are the Khajrana Ganesh temple. It was
constructed to protect the idol of Lord Ganesha from Aurangzeb by Rani
Ahilyabai Holkar. From being housed in a small hut, the temple has since grown
to a large temple with large inner and outer sanctums. In the temple, Vinayak
Chaturthi is celebrated in a great way.
4. Chhatris Bagh -
Chhatri Bagh was
originally a burial site for an ancient Holkar King, situated at Shree Nagar in
Indore, which has now been converted into a famous park. There are a lot of
canopied aka chhatris in the park that mark a Holkar king or queen's burial
site. The Holkars' cremation places are known as the Chhatris. These are beautifully
crafted and have structures that are intricately carved. There are also
several temples and other buildings constructed around them.
5. Indore White Church -
One of the
city's most interesting points of interest are the Indore White Church, a look
at the effect of British autonomy on Indore pre-independence. The entire
structure is made of white milk stone and marble, a tribute to awe-striking
European architecture. It is a sight for sore eyes to witness the church in all
its glory during Christmas, adorned from head to toe.
6. The Pipliyapala Regional Park -
The Pipliyapala
Regional Park, spread over an area of a whopping 122 acres and housing a ginormous 80-acre lake, is an absolute delight for adults and children alike.
Witness the mystical allure of the Mist and Musical Fountain, French Gardens,
Labyrinths, Artist Village, etc. in some fun-filled sports such as pedal
boating and motor boating.
7. ISCKON Temple -
At ISKCON Indore, let the melodies of Shri
Krishna's calming hymns cure you and let his vibrations heal you. Radha and
Krishna's mesmerizingly beautiful deities are created solely from marble and
evoke within you a sense of peace. An occasion of pomp and splendor galore is
the celebration of Janmashtami at ISKCON Indore.

site for pilgrimages, the Annapurna Temple is also a tourist attraction. The
temple also houses the shrines of Sivan, Hanuman, and Kalabhairava, dedicated to
the goddess Annapurna, the god of fruit.
The temple entrance is
decorated with four-life-size elephant statues, and the temple's architectural
splendor makes it a must-visit for all visitors.
9. Patalpani Waterfall -
The Patalpani
Waterfall, which falls from a height of 300 meters, is the most scenic
photographic stop in Indore. These roaring falls are enveloped by the
refreshing mist and dense greenery that make them the favorite picnic spot for
a getaway. Monsoons swell the falls and can make it dangerous for accidents
caused by close encounters. During the rain, it is best to maintain a careful
distance from the waterfall.
The water flow during the monsoons is
magnanimous and slopes can become slippery and treacherous, so during their
tour of the falls, visitors are advised to practice precaution. All in all, the
Patalpani falls are truly a sight to behold, the magnificent waterfall is a
must for anyone who loves nature to visit in all its plunging glory.
In
Indore, there are many nearby places to visit and the good part is that the
city is not teeming with visitors. Considered the heart of Madhya Pradesh, for
all types of visitors, Indore has everything. Take your pick from Indore
tourist places like the temple of Omkareshwar, an island at the confluence of
the Narmada & Kaveri Rivers, and as one of India's 12 jyotirlingams, it is
significant.
Food of Indore
Even
in the food habits of individuals, the diverse culture of Indore is very
evident. It is praised by food lovers throughout the country due to the good
flavor, taste, and variety of food in Indore. For its famous variety of
Namkeens, Indore is known. The city, like the Shikanji-a fascinating
combination of milk and dry fruits, is well known for its drinks and thirst
quenchers. They are an important part of Indore's cuisine. It is popular here
for the good old lassi consisting of yogurt flavor. Appetizers such as Jal-
Jira and santrola are also served at restaurants and eateries.

The lip-smacking flavors of Sarafa Bazaar food
stalls are a tribute to Indore's legendary food love affair. The Sarafa Bazaar
houses stalls that sell brightly colored artificial jewelry, brass ornaments , and mouth-watering dishes from the diverse cuisine of Indore, entertaining more
than 3000 visitors every day. At extremely low rates, there are over 50 dishes
available here.
2. Chhappan Dukaan -
Chhappan Dukaan is one of the best street food
hubs in Indore, serving specials, chaat, idli, and dosa with equal pleasure.
Chhappan Dukaan means fifty-six stores, literally. 56 separate shops were
started here at the time it was founded, all selling food products. With
individuals enjoying the delectable spread with passion, the evenings light up
the place like nothing else.
Pohe to an
Indori is the same as a Mumbaikar is to Vada-Pav. All the Indore Pohe
breakfasts. I don't exaggerate. This is the only menu on the cards anywhere in
Indore for 24 hours. Do not ever leave Indore without getting a poha-jalebi if
you are on a short ride!
As a result, the residents of Indore are mainly vegetarians. It is vital that
visitors enjoy the wide range of street food that is sold till the wee hours of the
night in the food galleries of Indore. In addition to restaurants, Indore
